Lift the rooftops off in 3D. Walk the streets in 360°. Put on a headset. Then stand in a field and watch what used to be there rise around you.
One city, and four ways of standing in it. Start with whichever you have: a browser, a phone, or a headset.
During the Napoleonic Wars a prisoner-of-war depot stood at Norman Cross, south of the city. Today it is grass, a memorial column and a few houses. There is nothing to photograph.
So we rebuilt it as a model, and anchored the model to the ground it stood on. Walk the field with your phone and the depot is there again, at full size, around you.
